The decree recognises St Mary Magdalene as first witness to the Resurrection and the first evangelist. Called by St Thomas Aquinas \u00a0an\u00a0&#8216;apostle of the apostles&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The Decree can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vatican.va\/roman_curia\/congregations\/ccdds\/index.htm\">Vatican website<\/a>.
