At the end of Mass (after the Prayer after Communion and before the Final Blessing) the&nbsp;<em>Prayer for the King&nbsp;<\/em>is said. Parishes may also wish to sing a hymn of thanksgiving (the&nbsp;<em>Te Deum&nbsp;<\/em>or other hymn) followed by the chant&nbsp;<em>Domine, salvum fac&nbsp;<\/em>and\/or the National Anthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Sunday Masses on 7 May parishes may wish to include an intention for the King and the Royal Family in the Prayer of the Faithful and at the end of Mass say the\u00a0<em>Prayer for the King\u00a0<\/em>followed by the chant\u00a0<em>Domine, salvum fac\u00a0<\/em>and\/or the National Anthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bishops&#8217; Conference has also produced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbcew.org.uk\/home\/events\/king-charles-iii-coronation\/prayer-card-for-coronation-of-king-charles-iii\/\">Prayer Card for Coronation of King Charles III<\/a> and ask that from<em> <\/em>Wednesday 3 May until Friday 5 May each Catholic in our lands pray for His Majesty and the Queen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><object class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"http:\/\/liturgyoffice.org\/News\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/King-Coronation.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:600px\" aria-label=\"Embed of King-Coronation.\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-049f87bf-74dd-41f3-8ca4-ff2b5e2f62e7\" href=\"http:\/\/liturgyoffice.org\/News\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/King-Coronation.pdf\">King-Coronation<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/liturgyoffice.org\/News\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/King-Coronation.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-049f87bf-74dd-41f3-8ca4-ff2b5e2f62e7\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bishops\u2019 Conference requests that on Friday 5 May 2023 each parish celebrates Mass for His Majesty the King to mark his Coronation.
